Solar-powered Toothbrush
It’s something which has become part and parcel of our lives. As we get up in the morning the first thing most of the people do in this world is to brush there teeth with a toothbrush. Why I am paying emphasis on toothbrush is that this post is also about a tooth brush which is been powered by solar energy.
You have heard of the various devices and the gadgets that have been designed for using the solar energy, which is a renewable source of energy. Here is another product in this category.
As you know that Japan is well known for bringing up with something, which is new to the world. So it is! Here they are back with something really exciting for those who really care for the future.
Japan-based Shiken has unveiled Soladey-J3X, a solar-powered toothbrush. It contains a moisture activated titanium dioxide rod in the neck, which works by creating a chemical reaction when the light hits the rod. When the light hits the rod it releases electrons which combine with acids in the mouth to help break down plaque.
The Soladey-J3X has a solar panel at its base, which transmits additional electrons through a lead wire. The toothbrush doesn’t use toothpaste, but does lead to a “destruction of bacterial cells”.
